SONY TO LAUNCH ALPHA 700 SLR DIGITAL CAMERA ONE WEEK EARLY
TOKYO, Oct 18, 2007 (AsiaPulse via COMTEX) -- SNE | charts | news | PowerRating -- Sony Corp. (TSE:6758) said Wednesday that it will introduce its Alpha 700 SLR (single-lens reflex) digital camera on November 9, one week earlier than planned. The move was motivated by "favourable reviews from retailers and consumers at hands-on exhibitions," according to an official at the firm. Preparations for the mass manufacturing process have been smooth.
