Sony Alpha A200 - sample images
Today at CES amongst OLED TVs, the Mylo handheld and Rolly robotic music companion, Sony announced the third Alpha DSLR, the A200 - and we were there to try it out! The A200 is like a compact version of the A100. It's smaller and lighter than its predecessor, with a slightly bigger 2.7in 230k screen, but the same 10.2 Mpixel CCD sensor. The AF system remains 9-point, but the speed is noticeably quicker and it's a little quieter too. The Alpha A200 should be on sale in February for $699 USD in a kit with the DT 18-70mm lens.
